Patient Reported Outcome Measures
Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROM’s) are a tool that we have been using to improve the care of our patients. PROM’s are structured questionnaires that help you record your symptoms directly, and allows your surgeon to better understand the symptoms you are suffering from.
At My Knee Doc, we believe in putting you, the patient, at the centre of your care. That's why we use Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), a system that allows you to track and share your own health outcomes, rather than relying solely on measures that are important to your surgeon or hospital.
We invite all of our patients to participate in our PROM's monitoring system. This system is completely voluntary, and you can opt-out at any time. By taking part in PROMs, you'll be able to:

To get started, simply sign up for the PROM's system when you book your appointment. You'll then be able to access the system and input your information at your convenience.

Gareth Stables
Cheshire Orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Gareth Stables, is a fully UK trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee surgery. Gareth has the highest qualifications possible for an orthopaedic surgeon in the UK, FRCS (T&O), and is on the GMC specialist register for Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery.
Gareth specialises in; keyhole or knee arthroscopy surgery, ligament reconstruction surgery, knee osteotomy and knee replacement surgery. He has over 15 years of experience in the field having qualified with a commendation in 1998 from the University of Liverpool Medical School.
